Designed for Alberta Recreation and Parks Association and the Alberta Active Creative Engaged (ACE) Communities initiative this Toolkit Package is an adaptable, interchangeable, portable resource for community leaders to use as an educational guide for applying/practicing community development methods throughout 300+ towns in Alberta.
This original concept and custom designed “Toolkit” package includes:
• a custom printed binder front & back cover, spine
• a 380 pg removable manual/ “Tools” booklet complete with 10 different staggered, banked, tabbed title page/section dividers, and front and back cover. The book’s drilled holes make it easy for leaders to incorporate the booklet as part of the binder and still be able to interchange/update/add pages and forms according to their teaching preferences and community’s progression stage.
• a 60 pg resource document complete with 5 tabbed/title page dividers
• original icon illustration/vector artwork
• charts/models/frameworks (with custom title/copy creation/collaboration)
• a new logo design for the new ACE initiative.
The “Framework Model”, the core structure and driving principles of this government initiative, needed to be produced with mainly Icons so that community leaders and members can easily and efficiently understand concepts visually, that would otherwise require multiple pages of text to explain.
These models also served as the basis for the other designs in the Toolkit Binder resource package.
